The Christmas Tag #2

Now, I did this tag last year however I wanted to do another one for Blogmas because why the hell not? To avoid my blog getting to 'samey' though, I am answering different questions in this tag, some of which I have found and some I have created myself.

How did you spend Christmas Day last year?
Last year was quite a standard Christmas Day for my family, we (Mum, Dad, George, Edward, Melissa, Maisy and I) all plodded down the stairs at about 9:30am to have a fry-up which my dad cooks for everyone, then after a lot of faffing, as per, we ventured to the living room to take our respective seats by our stockings and begin the unwrapping of presents. After everything present-esc was over and done with, we all went upstairs to freshen up and prepare ourselves for the glorious Christmas dinner that was yet to come. It was a very relaxed day which is just how I like it.

How are you spending Christmas Day this year?
This year is actually going to be a fairly different year for Christmas day compared to what we're used to. For the first time I am spending it with Harry at my house along with the rest of my family. His dad works over Christmas and his mum is a paramedic so also has to work, and I couldn't just let him spend it on his own! It is also the first year one of my brothers, Edward, won't be there, he left to do a Ski Season in November for 6 months so that will be weird as well.

Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Nope! I have always wished for one though, perhaps this year will be the year!

Do you have a fake or real Christmas Tree?
Both! A fake one goes in the kitchen as we have underfloor heating which has a tendency to kill the Christmas tree and a real one in the living room where we open our presents. We also have been growing our own little baby one over the past couple of years. Each year we put it in the dining room where we have our Christmas dinner and then when Christmas is over we replant it in the garden.

Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I always think I am pretty good at wrapping presents but then every Christmas I have to put them down by Melissa's presents which she wraps and feel ashamed. Melissa likes to go all out on her present wrapping and I don't blame her, she's even done a blog post about it which you can read here.

Favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of a real Christmas tree is my favourite Christmas scent, it is simply divine and I am yet to find a scented candle that does it justice in replicating the smell.

How did you find out the truth about Santa?
Having two older brothers, one of which is 5 years older than you and the other 3 years can be quite difficult at times. Especially when they laugh at 5 year old little Rhaea for believing in Santa. I vividly remember it being Edward crushing my childhood dreams with the words 'Santa isn't real' to me. I said that I didn't believe him, however this sprung a curiosity in me and so I went snooping in my parents wardrobes only to find the presents.

Post a pic of your favourite/most outrages Christmas jumper?
Here's a pic I posted of Melissa and I two years ago in our matching Reindeer onesies. Since we bought them, each year we have worn them on every Christmas morning to open our presents and still continue to do so.

If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?
The Santa Clause just because it's my favourite.

What is your favourite thing about the run up to Christmas?
I love going up to London and buying everyones Christmas presents and seeing Oxford and Regent street lit up with Christmas lights. I also love decorating the house and the tree and generally getting into the Christmas spirit!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy this post! I tag Melissa Lou and whoever else who wants to do this tag to do it next!

I think the tree alternates every now and then depending on what people are feeling, I can't remember though! Hah I prefer it in the living room though!
