The Blogger Recognition Award

Hello, helloooo
I hope you are all doing fantabulously well (no that was not a typo) and have hit the ground running with regards to your 2017 goals! If you're not having a great year just yet and you feel like the horror that 2016 was of a year is still lingering around a bit then dont worry, keep your head held high and keep going strong because it will get better I promise you. Side note: How is it February already?! Did January even happen? I'm not sure...

Anyhoo...

Today I am writing about 'The Blogger Recognition Award' after being tagged by the Romanian Beauty that is Alina Sirbu. If you have been following my blog for a while then you will know how much I love a good ol' tag post so without further waffle and babbling from moi, here are the rules:
✓ Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog
✓ Write a post to show your award.
✓ Give a brief story of how your blog started.
✓ Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
✓ Select 15 bloggers you want to give this award to.
✓ Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them, providing a link to the post you created.

How My Blog Started: I started my blog in August 2015. At first it was just to have something to channel my love for beauty products and have as an outlet for my creativity but then I started to realise I actually have a passion for writing about things I feel strongly about and begun my plan to grow my platform so that one day I can use it to reach out and help others. Since I started my blog I have noticed a dramatic change in my happiness and felt like I have more purpose in life which I will forever be grateful for.

Some Advice to New Bloggers: Without a doubt start a blog for the right reasons. That means start it perhaps because you feel you need a creative outlet or you want to share your photography and/or thoughts on products, not because you 'want all the freebies'. Another thing I would say is that don't be disheartened if your blog doesn't grow as quick as you feel it should be. Unless you get obscenely lucky, growth in the blogging industry can take years. But don't let that put you down, as long as your happy with your content and love being part of the blogging community then you'll get there.

I would like to nominate:
(soz if you've already been nominated)

Thank you so much again to Alina for tagging me and to everyone to have read this post,
